MicroActive Oligonol®
MicroActive Oligonol®
Improved Uniform Absorption
12-hour Sustained Release

Product Description

Supported by 30 human clinical trials, Oligonol is a patented, low-molecular-weight polyphenol derived from lychee fruit (85%) and green tea (15%) with excellent absorption and multiple anti-aging benefits.* It addresses the three major causes of aging: poor blood circulation, cell oxidation and inflammation.* [1],[2],[3],[4],[5]

Oligonol has been clinically shown to:
Support healthy post-meal blood glucose and lipid levels*[6],[7] Reduce visceral fat* [8] Lessen skin wrinkles and brown spots* [9],[10] Help decrease fatigue and improve endurance*[11], [12]

MicroActive Oligonol is a new, micronized form of Oligonol that has demonstrated significant sustained release activity in dissolution studies and increased residence time and absorption in a human study. The results of this research indicate MicroActive Oligonol:

Has 2.39 times greater bioavailability than regular Oligonol
Exhibits sustained release
Enables reduction of cost due to lower dosing requirement

Additionally, Oligonol is produced with the same technology that is responsible for improved uniform absorption in other either water-soluble or fat-soluble actives.

Mechanism of Action

MicroActive Oligonol increases absorption by reducing particle size less than 10 microns thereby promoting more efficient transport through the digestive track and cell walls. In addition, the proprietary mix of polymers in MicroActive® Oligonol slows the release rate allowing for absorption over a longer time period. Evidence supports the claim that this combination of greater absorption and sustained release creates a more uniform absorption from subject-to-subject, improving the probability that all consumers will benefit from the active.

Oligonol is made from lychee fruit and green tea, both of which have a long history of human consumption. Oligonol has been accepted by the FDA as an NDI and is GRAS (self-affirmed) and kosher-certified. Multiple studies on humans and animals have confirmed its safety.*[13],[14],[15],[16]
